The Best Spring Break Locations for Teachers (aka Adults)

Updated: Sep 10

Where should teachers go on spring break? Spring break is honestly the perfect time to take a trip as a teacher because there are tons of spots that are actually cheaper or in their shoulder season with fewer visitors.

I love picking spots for spring break that will take me somewhere with a little adventure, relaxation, and some awesome sunset views because priorities!!! These are the best spring break locations for teachers (aka adults 😜) that I’ve found. Hopefully, they’ll give you some inspiration too!

Each location is linked to a post to help you start planning. I’ve been to every location on this list and highly recommend them all. Have fun on your adult spring break – I always do!

Spring Break Road Trips:

I love road trips. I honestly think they make a great spring break trip because you can go at your own pace and see as much as you want. This makes it a relaxed vacation – just pick a place where there’s enough to keep you busy along the drive.

Islands

Island trips are a classic for spring break but I’ve visited a lot in what is known as “shoulder season” when the islands are fully open but it’s technically low season in March and April. Highly recommend because these islands will be less crowded, just as beautiful, you can still enjoy the water doing things like scuba diving, and a little less hot.

Cities

Who doesn’t love a good city break? There are so many great and affordable cities out there that you should check out. Many US cities are with more than a weekend visit and spending time there will give you a chance to really explore.
